Baby Smiles

Being a mom is definitely not being an easy task. I have my moments of frustration when Ann will just not fall asleep (even though I know she's tired) or she is just crying for no reason and I can't seem to calm her down, and I'm ready to just give up...

...but then she smiles at me and laughs, and my heart just melts. I am filled with such love for this little baby of mine.

I really am loving being a mom more and more each day. I love watching Ann grow up. I am also so grateful for the help I have - having Tom and my parents around is a tremendous help. I am also especially grateful for my Heavenly Father and the power of prayer. Saying a small prayer during those frustrating moments has been an amazing strength to me.

I love my little Ann.

(PS I plan on blogging about our last month or so ...we'll see when that happens :)
