Sisters Visit

Over the past few weeks, I have had the wonderful blessing of having my two little sisters in town visiting (one of the many perks of living close to my parents - getting to see any family who comes to visit them!).  Rebekah decided to come up with her little 9 month old boy since her husband was going to be away from home for about a month.  Janelle then planned her summer visit to overlap with Rebekah's :)

Rebekah just left yesterday to go and visit our older brother Nick in Arizona (she'll then go visit Vanessa in Texas in week).  Janelle was supposed to leave today, but thanks to a really random bout of pneumonia (emphasis on the random), she'll be sticking around until Monday.

It's been so much fun having my sisters here.  And without further ado, here are (some of) the pictures they've been repeatedly asking me to post :)

Janelle flew in a few days before Rebekah, so we had a couple of days with just hanging out with her

This is how you take a self-portrait shot, right?

Must "check time" while at the park...because that's what mommy does

Then finally Rebekah and her adorable Archer arrived!  As I predicted, Ann absolutely loved having a baby around to play with.

This with a common sight over the last two weeks.  Ann definitely wanted to make sure Archer drank his water.  She would run after him saying "Archer cup!  Archer cup!"

Rochester has started a thing called "Thursday on First and Third".  Basically on each Thursday through the summer a couple of blocks downtown are closed to car traffic and a bunch of vendors are put up (food, craft items, etc).  There's live music and stuff like that.  We somehow haven't ever gone before, so Rebekah and Janelle and I met up for lunch.  My parents wanted to go for dinner so we met up with Tom downtown and had dinner there too.  Ann got to eat her dinner in the stroller  (we were just sitting on the sidewalk).

The lovely Rebekah - I told her that she looked all grown up in this picture :)  (she's always looked young for her age)

Back at Grandma and Grandpa's house, hanging out in the backyard (a common thing we would do after dinner).  I wanted to take some pictures of Ann, and she insisted on wearing her sunglasses

Seriously, mom?

Cute cousins

Such a happy baby!  It was so fun to get to see him again

Finally got the courage to crawl in the grass over to his mommy

Ann hanging out by the fence

Archer being adorable by the lilac tree

Playing with rocks with Grandpa.  Archer had no fear and just crawled onto the rocks to get more.

Well I hope this satisfies Rebekah and Janelle for now :)  I'll get more pictures up sometime later (but not tonight...it's late).
