And since Ian is obviously the most adorable one year old around, we have lots of pictures :)
He was very wiggly and didn't want to sit still for pictures
He sat still better when Ann was there to hold onto him
He also kept pushing himself backwards
So Ann decided to do that (throw herself backwards) when she asked me to take a picture of her
Big cheesy grin
Can't forget the silly faces too
I want to go *somewhere* that day, so we went on a walk around Quarry Hill
Beautiful flowers
We saw some geese (and ducks and ducklings too)
I tried to take a few more pictures of Ian by some flowers, but again, he just wanted to crawl around instead of sit still (go figure)
Ann was willing to hold still for a picture, however
Sweet baby smiles though
Mom, why would I look at the camera when there is this awesome thing on the wall I can play with?
My girl with the wingspan of a barred owl.
Opening presents! He was a little unsure of the whole "I'm allowed to rip something up?" thing
Never fear though Ian...
...big sister is here to help you unwrap your presents!
Playing with the wrapping paper - always a favorite
Pressing the buttons on his new airplane toy
His birthday cake! Ann helped me pick out the frosting color. I decided to give Ian that little rectangle piece to be his to destroy (and I wrote his name on it with the sprinkles)
Ann helped blow out the candle
Hmmm, what is this?
Not so sure...
Still a little unsure
Hmm, not too bad (Tom put some of the cake in his mouth)
Finally trying it for himself
Yum! Green frosting covered boy
He definitely got a bath after this. It was a wonderful day celebrating our little guy! We love you Ian!
Ok, I think this may be all of the blogging I'll be doing for a while. We are moving to Las Vegas next week (Tom's done with school) and I really need to keep working on packing.
