Hair Cuts

On Labor Day Ann and Ian both got a needed hair cut.  This was Ian's first hair cut, and Ann's second (at least for the main length of her hair - I had kept bangs on her for a while back when she was 2).  Tom's mom helped do the actual cutting of Ian's hair (I held him), and she finished up Ann's since I was having trouble getting things evened out (in my defense, Ann was being kind of wiggly, but I also don't have a ton of experience cutting little girls' hair).

And the back (the last time she'd had the length of her hair cut was when she was 2).

I think she got about  an inch or 2 taken off.  It was nice to get those ends cleaned up.

And Ian after!  He's such a handsome little dude.  We left most of the curls in the back alone, but trimmed back the front, sides and the very bottom of the back.

Despite her face, Ann was okay with taking this picture :)  Ian however, was not.  I think he was due for a nap and didn't have much patience for a photo shoot.
