Preschool Graduation

So once again I'm behind in blogging :)  Ahh, 'tis just the way life is right now.  Back at the end of May was the end of preschool for Ann.  Her teacher had a little "graduation ceremony" for the parents to attend.  It just consisted of the kids singing several of the songs that talked about the things they had learned over the year.  It was pretty cute.  At the end, Miss Tammie called each of the kids down, handed them a certificate, put a "graduation cap" on their head, and said a few nice words about each child (there were 8 kids in the class total).

Tom and I had to chuckle about what Miss Tammie said about Ann.  She started out by saying that Ann is "about 4 going on....10" and how Ann had been patient with everyone at school while they were learning things that she already knew (we definitely sent her to preschool more for the social skills than anything else).  She also mentioned about how Ann is always so willing to help others if they needed it.

Since that first picture turned out a little blurry, we took another outside after everything was done.  I told Tom that I thought it was funny that I was the only parent there using an actual camera to take pictures, instead of just my phone.

Preschool was a wonderful experience for Ann and I'm so grateful we were able to find a spot for her in Miss Tammie's class.  I hope that kindergarten is an equally good experience for Ann once that starts in just over 2 short months!
