Calico Basin, again

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous out here.  Up until a few days ago, we have been having temperatures in the 70s.  One day after Ian's nap (before daylight saving time ended!) I took the kids up to Calico Basin.  Ann had been telling me that she wanted to walk around on the boardwalk.  It was obvious that it was beautiful outside with good lighting because we ran into several people getting family pictures taken (even a wedding party too!).

Hanging on to the rail

Ann wanted to take a picture of the field.  I thought it turned out pretty :)

Running, running

My sweet growing up girl (who is often mistaken as being several years older than she is :)

Such a silly boy :)

This is what I get when trying to get a nice picture of the two of them together.

It was just beautiful outside

I love it when they play with each other

I love this little girl's smiles - it's too bad that it's so tricky to get them on camera!

Running again!

The kids were eating a snack and I noticed a bunny nearby.  I was surprised by how close it let me get to it to take a picture before running away - the camera lens I was using doesn't zoom and this picture isn't cropped.

I tried again to get a nice picture of the two of them before we went home.  Ian thought the dirt and rocks were much more interesting than standing next to his sister to take a picture.

But at least I got a nice picture of Ann!  Are my kids the only ones who bend/crouch down if that's what I'm doing when taking their picture??
