The End of the Vacation!

I've finally reached the end of the pictures from our vacation in Las Vegas (good thing too, we've been home for 3 weeks now).

Our last Sunday, just a few days before coming home.  I'm not sure what to call this, a "napping train" perhaps?

Proof that Ann really did warm up to Grandpa Polley before we left.  She went to go join him as he listened to music on a pair of his headphones.

Trying to put the headphones on Ann (she had been wearing them right before this and wouldn't let us put them back on for the picture)

Preparing the birthday cake!  We were celebrating the two September birthdays in the family while we had everyone there

Birthday girl #1!

Ann trying to "help" light the candles on the cake

Both birthday girls together!

Trying to decide what to wish for before blowing out the candles

Ann was helping Grandma sweep the floor the day before we flew home

We took Ann swimming a handful of times we were there, and we wanted to get one last time in before we left.  This was the only time we went out during the middle of the day - which proved to be helpful in getting Ann into the pool more.  Normally she would just sit on the edge of the pool with her feet in.  However, the pavement was too hot with the sun out, so she had to get in the water :)

Hanging out with Grandma Polley (I held Ann a good chunk of the time we were out there)

Grandpa and Uncle Tanner came out to join us after getting home from Tanner's soccer game

Sitting with Grandma

Enjoying the little shallow area of the pool (Ann liked to hold onto the basketball)

Finally it was time to head back to Minnesota.  I bought stickers for Ann to play with on our flights, so what better thing for a toddler to do with stickers than to stick them onto her cheeks!

And take pictures of ourselves

She was such a tired little girl.  Our flights were right during her nap time.  We stayed on the same plane the whole way back, just making one stop in Denver.  She fell asleep just after take off when we left Denver.  She didn't sleep for too long (not used to sleeping sitting up, and I was afraid if I tried to move her she wouldn't fall back asleep), but it was enough of a catnap to hold her over until we could get home.

We had such a great time in Las Vegas and are so grateful we were able to go.  We can't wait until we get to visit everyone again!
