Here's some pictures from earlier this week, which include Ann making valentines. She made a card for both sets of grandparents, Tom, and also one to send to her last living great-grandma (my Grandma Cottrell). She really enjoyed getting to make valentines and deliver valentine cookies.
Ann has been going through a phase where she always wants to be wearing socks before she will sit in her chair at the table. She then got the bright idea to put all of her socks on at the same time (so each foot has either 4-6 socks)
So many socks! I had to stop her after the second time she tried doing this because it was stretching her socks out a ton.
Ann has discovered that it's really fun to hold onto mommy's legs and tell her to walk
My cute little buddy
Making valentines! This one was for my parents (we'd made the ones for Tom's parents and my grandma last week and had already sent them in the mail).
Taping the hearts to the card
I had Ann sign her name on the card. I helped her write the 'A', but then she wrote the two "n"s by herself
Making daddy's card
This time I let her write her name all by herself. Every time I see the "A" I think it looks like the symbol for pi
Eating cupcakes!
Obviously toddlers like to mimic the things they see mommy and daddy do. Ann has apparently seen me sitting like this on more than one occasion...
Who needs a jungle gym at a park when you have a daddy to climb all over??
Tom and Ann will play a game where Tom hides under a blanket and then Ann "finds" him. When we asked, "where's daddy?", this is the face she gave me :)
Tickle time!
