A while ago

I feel like I've fallen a little bit off the blogging bandwagon.  But to be honest there hasn't been a ton to blog about.  Life has just continued to carry on here, both the ups and the downs.  The weather has been nice and warm recently, so we've had plenty of trips to the park or walks around our neighborhood - but those obviously don't need a blog post every time they happen.  We've also gotten a ton of rain, so we've had plenty of indoor days too.  I've been trying to get things around here ready for Baby Boy's arrival in approximately 5.5 weeks.  Lots of organizing/reorganizing, buying random things that would be good to have around with a newborn.  Some friends from church threw me a baby shower last week.  That was a lot of fun and I'm grateful to all those who were able to make it.

So yeah, that's at least some of what's been happening around these parts.  I haven't taken too many pictures recently either.  But these are a few from nearly a month ago that I did want to post.

Getting ready to blow some bubbles outside

This was back at the end of May when Tom's mom was still out visiting us.

Chasing after the bubbles trying to pop them

This was at the beginning of June.  We bought this little watering can for Ann at Lark Toy Store when Tom's parents were visiting.  Ann likes to take it outside to "plant" (aka water the grass).  We also take the watering can with us almost every time we go to my parents' house so she can help my dad water their garden.

Watering the grass under the tree out front.  I realized her face was in the shade after taking this picture, so...

...I talked her into coming over here to water so her face would be towards the sun.  Unfortunately we don't have a means of filling up her watering can outside, so that part of going out doesn't last very long (I'm not willing to run up and down the stairs to come into our apartment to refill the watering can).

The needles on the pine tree are meant to go into the spout holes of the water can, right?

Laying in the grass after taking a walk.  I don't remember exactly what I did, but I did have to make some sort of silly sound to finally get her to really smile for me.
