Cousin Fun

So I'm a little behind in posting pictures :)  We really enjoyed having my sister Rebekah, her husband Grant and son Archer here for the entire month of August.  Ann loved having her cousin here to play with just about everyday.  I think they miss each other now that Rebekah and Archer have gone home.

Sleeping in his car seat after getting to Grandma and Grandpa's house

We brought out the sprinkler on one of the warmer days.  It's been a fairly cool summer (temperatures mostly in the 70s), so we took advantage when it got up into the 80s to have some water fun.

Ann wanted to get spun around too :)

She was trying to "splash" me with water.

Getting bigger and bigger by the day

Ok, so these next few pictures weren't with Archer.  It was raining one day and Tom asked Ann if she wanted to go outside on a walk with the umbrella.  She enthusiastically said yes.

Off they go

Stopping to step in the puddles

One last smile for mom.  She came back pretty wet (Tom said that she would run out from under the umbrella frequently)

Archer celebrated his 2nd birthday a few days before they left (the Pooh bear balloon was left behind and Ann has enjoyed playing with it each time we go back to my parents' house)

Getting ready to blow out his candles

The weird face my child made when asked to smile

Stuffing her face with cupcake

Grandma holding Ian one night when we had a picnic at IBM park

Rebekah asked me to take some 2-year-old pictures of Archer for her.  He's one cute little kid (don't worry Rebekah, I'll email all of the pictures to you soon - we just need to calibrate the color on our monitor :)

I caught my dad standing on top of the space shuttle toy!

Archer climbing on the playground after getting his pictures taken

Ann's turn to climb up the ladder

I decided to try and take a few pictures of Ann too

My cute, sweet, growing-bigger-every day little girl.

Not too bad for a "telling you to smile" smile

Laying in the grass just before it was time to head home (oh, and a side note about that night - the mosquitoes were out in full force.  And apparently I am very tasty to said mosquitoes.  I ended up with 14 bites, the majority of which were on my head and neck.  Not cool.  One perk about the longer winter time here - NO BUGS!)
