Ballet

We signed Ann up for a community ed ballet class with a friend of hers (and it turns out that several other girls from her sunbeam class at church were also in the class as well).  She had so much fun!  The class went from the end of January until the end of March.  She almost didn't have the last class because it (as well as the public schools) was canceled due to the snow storm I mentioned in my previous post.  Fortunately, they were able to reschedule it for a few days later.  The last day was the day that parents are allowed to watch!  It was super cute (so there are a lot pictures) :)

Roll call

I don't know all the correct terminology for everything they did

Time to take a bow!

They were sashaying (I remember that one!) across the room.  Ann would wave to me as she passed by me and say "hi mom!"

Sashaying with a partner.  The teacher was having to tell Ann's partner to slow down and not drag her across the room :)

Getting ready to jump over the feather boa

Walking around the room with pom-poms.  I don't know why, but during this part Ann walked around the whole time with her head down like this.  It was the only time she did that,

Pointing toes

In case I ever forget just how tall Ann is, this picture is a good reminder.  The class was for 3 and 4 year olds, and I know Ann wasn't the oldest in class.

Pretending to be a mommy bear

I think they were being seals? I forget.

One last twirl!

My sweet ballerina

Love this girl! I'm so glad she had a good time.
