We hiked up to a place called Robbers Roost
It wasn't too difficult, but there were some rocks to climb up and over. Ann did a great job.
Up to the cave
Ann went with Grandpa further up into the caves. Ian, Grandma and I stayed behind
A look further up the canyon. Apparently a lot of people come here to rock climb. The rock above the cave was covered in climbing hooks. Before we left, we noticed someone climbing up the face of the rock on the left of this picture.
This little bird was just hopping around and surprisingly let me get really close to it to take a picture.
Daisy came along on our adventure as well. She sure is an old lady though (she's 13) and needed a little help to climb over the bigger rocks.
I carried Ian on my back (there was no way we'd have been able to bring the stroller up there)
Coming back down from the caves. Ann did great, though apparently decided near the end that she was a little worried about the whole thing.
The sign showing the beginning of the trail
Beautiful view from the top of the mountains
This was a few days later. Ann really wanted to go play soccer outside after dinner.
She had fun kicking the ball around the cones
Grandma brought Ian outside too! It was probably at least 90 degrees out, so Ian was just fine without his clothes.
Ian got to kick a ball around too!
Crawling around in the grass. This little guy just absolutely loves being outside.
