Conference and Rain

I'm just continuing to play catch-up and try and get all of the pictures I wanted to post put up.

Back in the beginning of October was the semi-annual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  We enjoyed watching it and hearing the inspiring messages that were shared.  I baked some orange rolls for us to eat on Saturday morning.

Ian was super cute, as always.

He also made it a little difficult to listen to conference because he kept trying to crawl upstairs or get into anything he could.

Everyone loves to be with Daddy!

Over a week or two we had some rain showers.  Ann absolutely loved taking an umbrella outside to go walk around in the rain.

These two can be so cute together.  They really do love each other a lot.  Ian calls Ann "Naa-Naa".  One evening (while Ian was still getting the hang of walking), Ian pulled up onto Ann and held onto her shirt while they walked together.

Another day, another rain shower, outside again with the umbrella.

Tom took Ian outside to check out the rain.

Stop to pet Daisy as she walks by

And then stop to grab at the little fence along the yard.

Ian was trying to grab the umbrella from Ann, but then decided to walk over to me.

Unfortunately the rocks along this part of the walkway get quite slippery when wet, and I got this picture of Ian mid-fall.  He cried for a minute and then was ready to go and play some more.

Trying to make it feel more like fall (up until about two weeks ago, we'd still been having temperatures that felt like summer to me - we're finally down to the 60s/upper 50s - for the longest time it was still being in the 70s and 80s).  Ann helped me make some delicious pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.
