Testimony

I felt like I wanted to share my testimony on here again. So here it goes...

I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live, and that they truly know me, and each one of us, uniquely. I know that when I sincerely pray I am able to receive answers. Sometimes it is an actual thought/impression to a question or concern. Often times though, it is a feeling of love and peace - a feeling of knowing that everything will work out, even if I don't know how. This has been a great source of strength and support as our lives have been filled with a lot of questions and uncertainty in the past few years.

I am so grateful for the scriptures, words from living prophets, and the temple. These have all been sources of comfort, strength, and inspiration. It can often be just little things that make a big difference.

I am so grateful for the atonement of Jesus Christ. I have been understanding even more the strengthening and enabling power the atonement can give. I have felt love and forgiveness after sincerely repenting of mistakes (which there have been plenty of). But as I mentioned earlier about feelings of comfort and peace, I know that Christ is able to succor (or give aid to) us, as He descended below all things, so He alone perfectly understands what we are feeling and experiencing.
