Earlier this month when Tom's mom was visiting, we tried to get outside some to enjoy the nice weather we were having (when it wasn't storming). Near the end of her week here, we headed out to Quarry Hill (an old limestone quarry site that's turned into a nature center - there's still remnants around of blast houses and such. There also used to be a mental institution there and there's also a small cemetery as well...an interesting place for sure). We mostly just stayed on some paved walk ways, since most of the other cool stuff isn't stroller-accessible. We had a fun time walking around though, and eventually Ann got tired of being in her stroller and wanted to walk around herself. It was a very bright day, so we're glad for the trees that gave us some shade!
Walking is this little girl's favorite activity ever. It was within days after this that she started being able to walk around without our help anymore.
"What do you mean hats go on my head? They aren't for eating?" Nothing stays on this girl's head longer than 30 seconds - headbands, bows, hats, nada...
Couldn't be happier
Pausing so Grandma Polley could talk a picture of Ann (though I'm pretty right after this she tried to reach and grab Grandma's phone from her)
Walking over to Mom
Still loves riding on Daddy's shoulders
Apparently playing with Mommy's hair is way more exciting than looking at the camera...

Ann is so cute and I bet it's so fun to have her walking around! I love watching them learn new things.
