Reading and Coloring

Ann loves her books and often goes over to her books and "reads" them all by herself.

Looking at her book

If I'm not watching her though, sometimes the books become food

I have to admit, it's pretty cute.  But I did stop her after I took the pictures

For Ann's birthday, I bought her a pack of jumbo-sized crayons.  I know she's still a little small for coloring, but I figured we could have some fun with them anyways.  I've gotten her to understand the concept of putting the crayon on the paper to make marks.

I wanted to get a picture of her holding her crayon, so of course she let go of the crayon and grabbed the lens cap instead :)

Finally got her to hold on to her crayon (sitting on the paper :)

Okay, done with coloring!  Let's go do something else!!

Often, our coloring sessions end with me trying to stop Ann from eating the crayons.  *Sigh* Oh well, we have plenty of time to keep enjoying coloring.

This girl is growing up way too fast!!
