Halloween

Like last year, we went "trick-or-treating" to my parents' house on Halloween and that's it.  Ann's still too young to understand it yet, and she wouldn't eat any of the candy she'd get anyway, so I couldn't really bring myself to take her out yet.  Maybe next year.

So without further ado...here are probably more pictures than you wanted to see of Ann on Halloween (unless you're a grandparent):

My mom gave Ann a little trick-or-treat bag with a special treat for her...a box of graham crackers :)

Looking at chocolate with Grandma

Ann was very curious about the trick-or-treaters that stopped by the house

Wanting to see what's going on

Playing with more chocolate (she didn't eat any of it, nor did she even try to...there's a reason my mom gave her graham crackers)

It's hard to get this busy one to stand still for a picture.  This is probably the best full-front view I got of her in her costume (such a cute little chinese girl :)

She found a reese's peanut butter cup in my parents' candy bowl and just wandered around holding it

Love that cute little smile!!

What Halloween is complete without pictures with a pumpkin??

"This is an interesting thing, Mom.  I suppose I'll let it stay by me"

"Okay, you can take the pumpkin away now..."

"What do you mean it's almost bedtime?  I'm not laying down because I'm tired" (notice that she's *still* holding onto that reese's)

Just before we left my parents snapped a few pictures of Ann and me.  I decided to dress up too, pretty much for no other reason than because I could :)  I wore my Indian salwar kameez that I got from my cousin-in-law Janus back in 2006 when she and my cousin Grant and their daughter were away in India for 6 months for work.  I don't have many opportunities to wear it (without getting strange looks), so I take advantage of whenever I can.

Love this sweetheart!  She has recently discovered that it is fun to kiss.  We'll have to keep an eye on her once she realizes she can kiss more people than just mommy and daddy :)

I can't believe November is already here!  There is so much to look forward to in the next few months!
