Ann recently discovered one of my old teddy bears. This bear (named "Tally") is probably one of my most favorite stuffed animals from growing up (I think I got it when I was 5), so it's been fun to see her love it so much. She wanted to hold the bear after waking up from her nap one day.
We don't do normal piggy-back rides around here :) I can't really remember how this started, but Ann loves to ride around our apartment on Tom's back this way.
Ann wanted to wear my sweater one morning while I was getting breakfast ready
She does the most random things sometimes. After I'd finished getting breakfast cleaned up, I come out to the living room and find Ann sitting on the couch, looking through some ads that came in the mail, while holding one of my headbands under her chin. I have no idea why...
Ann wanted to ride around in our laundry basket one day (unfortunately, it's a bendable basket, which makes it harder to push around). She wanted to ride with the stuffed animals too.
Bird and car watching in the afternoon (there were a lot of birds outside this particular afternoon...Rochester has been having problems the last number of years with crows, mostly downtown, but apparently a flock flew up our way...wanting a change of scenery perhaps?)
All bundled up to go grocery shopping with mom in the sub-zero temperatures (if I remember right, we left around 11am and the air temperature was -2, with a windchill of -18)
Another shot of the backwards piggy back rides. Ann will direct Tom around the apartment, and she often gets flipped onto our bed during these rides as well (as it about to happen here)
Still a little groggy from her nap. We bought her a new sleep sack just a week or two ago. This girl is a tall one for sure. When I took her in to the doctor for her ear infection recently, they measured her at 35 inches. That's already taller than I was when I turned 2 years old.
This is the way to help mom make a bed :) She thought it was pretty fun to lay on the bed while I pulled the sheet and comforter on top of her.
