Ice Storm

This last Sunday we had an ice storm come through the area.  It's the first ice storm I've experienced in quite a while.  Our ward at church meets at 9am.  We met for Sacrament Meeting, but then they decided to cancel the rest of church because it was already starting to rain and freeze outside.  We just stayed inside the rest of Sunday, and since Tom doesn't have classes on Mondays, we didn't go anywhere that day either.

I went to the front of our apartment building, and, putting one foot on the pavement, decided that I would be taking pictures from the doorway.  Everything was completely covered in ice.

A view of the road and driveway

You can see all of the ice on the grass

In other news...Ann has been enjoying the homemade food I've been putting in the reusable pouches I bought.  I'm so glad she likes them!

Ann has also been increasing in her love of stuffed animals and I find it incredibly adorable

(Side Note: Once upon a time, a few years ago, Tom started a photography blog that he and I have only posted on a couple of times.  It's been over two years since we put anything on there, and I thought I would try and revive it a bit.  I've posted a couple macro pictures I took of the ice outside on there.  If anyone is interested in looking at them, you can go here)
