Christmas - Part 1

This year we went down to Las Vegas to be with Tom's family for Christmas.  We had a great time and the two and half weeks we were there went by way too quickly.  All of our flights there and back went really well.  On our way down, we stayed on the same plane, just making one stop in Milwaukee.  Both legs of that flight were nearly empty (about 30 people for each flight).  It was great because it made it easy for us to spread out and allow Ann lots of room to move around.  There was also a male flight attendant that was really good with Ann, and would always fist bump with her whenever he came by.  It was pretty funny to watch her do that.  Our flights home went well too, neither flight was completely full, so we were able to have a seat  for Ann to sit in and crawl around on.

So I have a ton of pictures, so I decided to break them up into at least two (maybe three) posts, so I don't have one crazy long post.

Tom took this picture of me talking.  There aren't too many pictures of me while we were there (since I was the one behind the camera the majority of the time), so I decided to include it.

The Christmas Tree on Christmas Eve just before going to bed.  There were a lot of presents under that tree.  We had 12 people there!

Tom's sisters and mom showing off their Christmas socks!

Christmas morning before opening presents.  Ann loves those Gerber Graduates Grabber pouches, and so that's what her stocking was full of.  She'd actually woken up before 6am and wouldn't go back to sleep.  I tried to give her a normal breakfast but she didn't want any.  So she got a pouch right away so she wouldn't be too hungry.

Grandpa Polley put a bow on Ann's head

I'm not sure what she's looking at, but she's holding a dove chocolate she found out of someone's Christmas stocking

Twirling around in her tu-tu from Grandma Polley

Still wearing her tu-tu while playing with other new toys

Kreed with his present that came in a box almost a big as himself (it was a sound bar and subwoofer)

Ann was completely worn out by the time we were done with presents upstairs.  Getting up earlier than usual and all of the excitement of Christmas morning caused her to crash around 11am.  I was helping Tom's mom get our brunch ready while Ann ate some food.  At one point, Tom's sisters commented that they thought Ann was falling asleep.  I went over and this is what I saw.  I think it's cute she's still holding her spoon.  I got her cleaned up and put in bed - she slept for nearly 4 hours.

Tom's sister Ann's little girl was absolutely adorable!  She got this mirror for Christmas and was completely mesmerized by it!

Despite her expression, Ann really loved the "baby".  It was hard to get a picture of just the two of them sitting still though!

Grandma with her two granddaughters!

So many office chairs to play on!!!!

Ann found my coat one day and wanted to wear it

I asked Tom to take a picture of Ann and I one night before she went to bed

Pulling all of the place mats out of the drawer.  Just doing those things that toddlers do :)

Alright, I think that's all for this post.  I'll do another tomorrow (hopefully).
