The Cutest Part of My Day

There's just something about the innocence and charm of a little child that can just so easily brighten one's day:

After breakfast this morning Ann pulled my apron out of a drawer and asked me to put it on her

I crouched down to be more eye level with Ann while I took her picture, and this is what she did.  She is such a little imitator.

Ann has had quite an interest in putting her shoes on herself for quite some time now.  She recently has mastered putting her shoes on while also wearing socks.  If you notice though...they are on the wrong feet :)  I tried to get her to fix it when she was first putting them on, but she got very upset at me.

Such a happy, smiley girl!  (I did fix her shoes before we left though... :)
