Snow!

Last week we had a snow storm come through.  We got around 6" (the most we've had at one time all season).  Since I hadn't gotten Ann out into the snow much this year, I wanted to take the opportunity to let her play in it before it all melts again.  My mom had an old pair of snow pants that are just Ann's size, so we went over there to play (plus they have sleds that we could pull Ann around in as well).  We were out in the snow for probably 10 minutes at most.  Ann was less than thrilled by the whole experience.

In the sled before starting our ride!  About two seconds after I started pulling her, she started repeating "done!  done!"  I pulled her to just the backyard, got her off the sled and set her down in the snow.  Again, all she said was "done!"

 I tried to get her to play with the snow a little, but she didn't want anything to do with it.  The only thing she tolerated was sitting on the steps of my parents deck.  She saw my parents watching from their living room window and waved to them.

Yummy mittens...wet mittens still totally help keep your hands warm, right??

Okay, so these aren't pictures of the snow, but they're still cute anyways.  My mom found this hat and gave it to Ann.  She wore it all morning long earlier this week.

"Talking" on Daddy's phone (while walking around the apartment just like Daddy!).  I asked her who she was talking to and she said "grandma".
