That's right, folks! A dishwasher!! I am beyond excited about this. This is the first time in my entire married life (so, almost 4 1/2 years) that I have lived somewhere with a dishwasher. It took a couple months of (nicely) nagging our managers, but it finally happened! (Back-story: I'd noticed a while back that the website for our complex had begun advertising dishwashers as one of the perks of the apartments, so I figured they were just slowly adding them as people moved out, etc. We figured it was worth asking if we could just have one, and they said yes!! Though I did have to leave a few notes/phone messages saying things like "so I've asked you about this...any word on if it can happen/when it will happen?")
We did lose some cabinet space to make room for the dishwasher, so we'll have to buy something to put my pots and pans in, but it is so totally worth it :)

Yay! I just got a dishwasher in our new place for the first time. I enjoy cooking so much more now.
