Christmas Eve

Alright, now we're getting into the Christmas stuff!  (Hopefully it won't be nearly two months from now when I'm finally able to blog about Valentine's day!)

Since there's little kids around again, Tom's mom pulled out their old nativity costumes so Ann and Kaybri could dress up.  Ann wanted to be Mary (and chose to have a doll be baby Jesus instead of Ian - I don't think Ian was offended by this choice).

Kaybri wanted to be an angel

The angel appearing to the shepherd with his "sheep"

Mary taking a rest (or being bored, something like that)

Flying Ian!

The birthday pie (we sing Happy Birthday to Jesus...their family is more of a pie family than cake, so we have pie.  I admit I do feel kind of funny singing happy birthday to Jesus, but it's their tradition so I go with it).

Kaybri watching the candles get lit

Blowing out the candles (it's probably a good thing Ann didn't get much closer to help blow out the candles, considering she was still wearing her Mary costume)

A tired Ian enjoying some Grandma time

The Christmas tree and presents before we headed off to bed.  Ann's stocking is the one to the left of her magna-doodle, Ian's was on the right.  I think Ann's stocking just had food in it - M&Ms, candy cane hershey kisses and a clementine.  Ian's had a teething ring and a little frog toy.

Ok, well that last picture was before we tried to get everyone to bed.  Ann went down fine.  This little guy, however, decided sleep was for babies.

We spent some quality time together in the study trying to help Ian get tired

Early Christmas kisses for mommy :)
