The Park

One of the best parts about being in Las Vegas (other than getting to see family), was getting to play outside and go to parks (not that you can't play outside here in Minnesota, but it's much easier to play outside when it's warmer and you don't have to put on a ton of layers).  Ann loved getting to go to the park that is just across the street from the Polley's neighborhood.

It's amazing taking her to this park as she grows up, and seeing how much more confident and capable she becomes

Telling me all of the numbers

Trying out the "big kid" swing.  Ann still prefers the little kid/baby swings, but we've had to tell her that she is WAY too big for them now (something about being the size of a 5 year old makes being in those little swings a little difficult)

Climbing around on these blocks

At the top of a big tube slide.  I'm still amazed at how much she's grown.

Nearing the time to go home (we went during Ian's nap time)

Ok, so these obviously aren't park pictures, but they get included anyways :)  Ian had a big poopy diaper and got to take a bath in the kitchen sink.  He had fun.

Enjoying watching the water.  We have similar pictures of Ann when she was about Ian's age visiting the Polleys.

Ann really does look like a five year old! I bet it was nice to get a break from the cold and enjoy playing without coats.
