I rode on the pontoon with Ann (among others) earlier in the morning during Ian's nap, but this was after lunch. I didn't go this time because Ian was due for his afternoon nap soon. Ann really enjoyed riding in the boat :)
Ready for a relaxing time on the lake
Off they go!
Ian loves swings
It's a little hard to see, but in the sky just above the trees on the right side you can see a bald eagle flying. If I remember correctly, it was a young eagle (it had spots). We saw quite a few bald eagles during our week there. It was pretty neat.
By ourselves after the pontoon riders took off
The resort owners had a few cats and a dog that wandered around the property. This cat caught a fish out of the bait tank and went under this building to eat its snack. My nephews were thoroughly fascinated by this.
One more ride after dinner before it was time to go to bed. Ian came along with us this time (partly because there wasn't anyone available to watch him for me).
He enjoyed crawling around the floor
A seafaring baby! He was quite happy to be along for the ride. And I'm holding onto his life jacket do he doesn't lean too for forward.
This is also probably really hard to see (the camera on my phone is not that great), but out on the lake we passed by a loon family! There were both parents as well as two babies. Loons are the Minnesota state bird.
Not related to pontoon riding, but it gets included anyway. Ann definitely wore herself out most days we were at the cabin and she'd fall asleep in the late afternoon.
After I finally got her up and awake (she's hard to get up from naps). Playing with her Lego candy.
