Okay, so it's time to try and play catch-up with the blog!
Occasionally here in the desert we get wind storms. There was a particularly strong one back in February. If I remember correctly, there were sustained winds of 30ish mph with gust up to almost 50 mph. It was kind of crazy. We went out and took a few pictures, but didn't stay outside for long because a lot of dust was being blown around and it was irritating my eyes.
Ann in the wind
Ann wanted to take some pictures so she took some of me and Ian
My hair was all over the place
The fronds on that palm tree are not usually horizontal like that :)
Our neighbor across the street had a tree get blown over. Ann had noticed it and called me over saying "Mom, come look at Steve's tree!". I said "Why? Did something bad happen to it?" Ann responds with "No, it just fell over".
Later when it was not so windy, about 2 weeks after Ann's cast came off, she finally got to ride her bike for the first time outside! Tom was making sure everything was all in order
Hanging around while Tom worked on the bike
And there she goes! She enjoyed getting to ride it around and didn't seem too nervous about it.
Ian didn't want to get left out of the bike riding action
One Sunday Ann wanted to water the garden outside with a spray bottle. I'm pretty sure she sprayed just about every plant out there.
Beautiful blossoms on the trees - it felt like it was May, except it was February!
Cute, adorable little boy
