Easter 2016

We had a fun Easter this year.  Ann and I dyed eggs on Friday.  The trickiest part of that was trying to make sure Ian didn't attack the eggs (or fall off of the bar chairs, as they move).  Tom helped me hide Ann and Ian's Easter baskets Saturday night for them to find after they woke up on Sunday.  We had their egg hunt in the backyard after we had dinner (I got to be the one to make all of the dinner since Tom's mom was up in Idaho that weekend).

Using a clear crayon to draw on the eggs before coloring them.

Admiring the eggs

Ian grabbing at the eggs

Starting the hunt!

It's fun that Ian is old enough now to look around and find eggs

I think we hide about 40 eggs if I remember correctly

Ian ran around shaking his basket so much that the eggs would fall out, so Tom had Ian put his eggs by him so they wouldn't keep falling all over the yard

Looking up in a tree for more eggs

Making a pit stop to open an egg

And again - each of the eggs had a couple jelly beans inside

Posing with their baskets and eggs after we were all done!
