Ann's 8th Birthday

This past May our Ann turned 8 years old!  It's crazy to think that it's been that long since she joined our family.  She had a nice day.  The kids played for a while after Ann came home from school, and then Tom took off of work for a while to meet us at Red Robin for dinner and then cake and presents at home.  It was also Tom's and my 10th wedding anniversary.  A whole decade! So much has happened in these past ten years (both wonderful and difficult). I'm so glad to have Tom with me through all of it.

I guess I only used our big camera to take pictures of her while opening presents (I got pictures of her cake on my phone)

Ann got some baptism related gifts from Tom's parents

We got Ann a Rubik's cube since she'd been playing with one her teacher at school had.  Tom has since looked up and taught her a lot of the algorithms you can use to solve it and she has learned to be able to solve it herself.

We got Ann a kid's cookbook (but one that has actual recipes).  We had fun making a few things out of it over the summer

My big, growing, happy girl! Love you so much, Ann!
