Las Vegas Trip

We took a week and a half long trip to Las Vegas at the end of June (it was our main vacation for the summer).  We spent a some of the time with just us and Tom's parents (and got to spend some time visiting friends), and then during the second half of our time there we ended up having all of Tom's siblings coming down to visit as well (we'd planned to overlap with his sister Ann who had been planning a trip down as well).  It was crazy and fun to get to see everyone.  I have been wanting to get back into taking pictures more, so I did my best to have our camera out a lot and took quite a few pictures.  It felt really good to do that again after not doing so in such a long time.

The weather while we were there wasn't too terrible.  Just like in Phoenix, it was a cooler spring and took a bit longer to heat up.  It was in the 90s most of the time we were there (which is still hot for sure, but a lot better than what it could have been).

Ann and Ian sure do miss having easy access to a trampoline

We were there over Father's Day weekend, so we took a few pictures of the three kids with Tom

Swimming was a near-daily event (I think the two Sundays we were there were the only days they didn't swim).

Tom spent a lot of time teaching Ian some swimming skills.  He made a lot of improvement during our short time there.

We often had some wiped out kiddos from all of the playing

And we always had a very cute baby!

Tom's sister Jill had a baby just 5 weeks after Emily was born.  It was so much fun to finally get to see these two cute cousins together!  (And since my babies are all super tall, there are a lot of height comparisons going on)

We laid them down next to each other and somehow Emily got a hold of her cousin's foot and started to eat it

More cousin size comparisons - there is almost 10 months between these two in age.

Anna helped Emily take a little ride on Tanner's back

Tom often puts Emily on his shoulder and it's super cute

Actually got a picture of me!  I was really there!

All of the Polley grandchildren!  It took a bit of work to get this picture (between kids complaining of the bright sun and a runaway toddler)

My three cuties that I love so much!  It was nice to have a chance to get away for a little while and see family!
