So the family reunion has come and gone (more to be posted on that later). For the last 2+ weeks I got to spend time with my wonderful siblings and parents. The last of my siblings left to go home last night (miss you Janelle, and everyone else!), so it was back to normal life today. Sometimes I can struggle getting back into the swing of things after a vacation/break-from-the-norm, but I had a relatively productive day today: I took Ann out for our usually morning walk/run, scheduled some doctor check-ups, vacuumed the apartment, did two loads of laundry (and put them all away too!), and cooked dinner (for the first time in 2+ weeks! And did all of the dishes afterwards!).
Ann went to bed a little early tonight since she didn't nap well today. And now I'm sitting on the couch listening to the rumblings of an approaching thunderstorm, thinking about how I should go to bed soon as well.
Life is good
