I took Ann outside one evening before bedtime. It was cooler and windy outside so I pulled out her new sweater I recently bought for her (how in the world is my 16 month old starting to fit into 2T clothes??)
One of Ann's new favorite activities (especially with Tom). Tom will put a pair of his socks on her feet....
...and she will pull them off!
Daddy puts the socks on again...
...look at the socks....
...then pull them off again! (And repeat and repeat...) :)
It was especially nice out this last Sunday evening so we took a little walk outside after dinner. Seriously the cutest thing to see a daddy and daughter walk down the street holding hands.
My little girl...who's not so little anymore. We recently had her 15 month checkup (even though she's 16 months old now...her doctor tends to be busy around back-to-school time). She's in the 94th percentile for height (I guess that's how she's starting to fit into 2T clothes.. ;) She's also only the 39th percentile for weight. She's our long and lean girl for sure.
Being shy :) She definitely takes after me in this regard. She saw someone on the other side of the street and turned and held onto Tom's shorts.
Redirecting Ann away from the street
I had to pick her up since she just wanted to run into the road. She was fussing so I started to mimic her. Apparently she thought it was pretty funny :)
Running back to Daddy :)
