4 Months

Ian just recently passed the 4 month mark!  The time is flying by so fast - and this kid just keeps growing like crazy!  I took him in for his check up last Tuesday.  He's now 26 inches long (85 percentile) and 14.5 lbs (30 percentile).  Out of curiosity, I checked to see how he compared to Ann's growth, and he's about the same size she was at 6 months.  Granted, he is a boy and boys tend to be bigger in general.  But it would explain why he seems to be growing so much faster than Ann did.  He's definitely keeping up with the trend of long and lean!  There's tall-ness in both of our families, and especially mine.  I guess we just have the right combination of genes for height!  We like our tall babies!  He is just such a sweet, happy little guy.  He has discovered his voice and now makes all sorts of noises.  He also has decided that he loves standing.  We love him so much!

Ann wanted in on the picture-taking action too.  I think this may be my new favorite picture.  I love how much these two love each other already.  I hope it continues to stay that way as they get older!
