Pi Day

Normally Pi Day isn't a huge deal around here (not that it was that big of a deal this year, either), but we did decide to celebrate a bit, since this year was a little special.  Normally the date of Pi Day just uses the 3 and the first two digits past the decimal point (hence, March 14th).  But once a century the year is actually the following two digits (15).  Tom and I went and had lunch at Baker's Square and then brought home a pie.  I believe the pie was called "A Berry Harvest", or something like that.  It was a galette - an old fashioned style pie.  It had apple, rhubarb, raspberries and blackberries.  Anyways, I don't know how much we'll do for future Pi Days, but this year it was definitely a fun excuse to go out on a date :)

We saw this Pi Day shirt online and so we got it for Tom.  It seemed like something he should own :)
