Spring? What's that?

So you know how I wrote a little while ago how it seemed like spring was finally starting to arrive?  Well, I think this following picture (which I got off our local KTTC's facebook page) sums everything up:

Yeah, this past week the temperatures have fallen back into the 30s.  It was cold and rainy.  And then we had an ice storm warning yesterday and the public schools were canceled (for the 5th time this year!).  And it snowed last night.  It's snowing right now.  Granted, we aren't getting much accumulation (unlike other parts of the state which got 6-8" yesterday).

Now this isn't the first time by any means that I've experienced snow in April.  As I was laying in bed last night, I remembered one April when I was at BYU and it snowed during finals weeks, so I took a picture of myself outside holding a sign that said "It's April!".  Being the nerd I am, I decided it would be fun to recreate said picture, except having Ann be the one holding the sign.

I crouched down to be more on her level and Ann decided to copy me.

Self-portrait (still getting used to my haircut)

Just being goofy before we took Tom to school this morning

So yeah, we'll see when spring finally decides to arrive and stay for good!
