We have been trying to get outside as much as possible this last week. Ann has been loving getting out of the house. Anytime we go anywhere, she just wants to walk around outside. Last summer and into the fall we were outside walking around the neighborhood almost everyday. We never saw many of our neighbors (it's a very quite cul-de-sac that we live on, and not many families). Apparently, even though we didn't see many neighbors, they definitely saw us. As one neighbor was pulling out of her driveway the other day, she waved to Ann and called out to me "She's gotten so big! I wasn't sure if you guys lived there anymore since I haven't seen you outside much lately!" (I commented back how we didn't venture out much during the winter with it being so cold.) I think I forget how much we are noticed by those around us, even if we don't notice them.
I don't have any pictures of our little walks outside, but I do have some of a few things we've done inside.
One day Tom was resting on the couch playing on our tablet and Ann climbed up next to him. I think Daddy-daughter interactions are just the cutest, sweetest moments.
Having fun slicing fruit :)
This is how to help Mommy make cookies, right?
Pouring in the vanilla. She actually didn't want to help me pour much into the mixer. I asked each time, but she would tell me to do it
Such a sweetheart
Chocolate mouth :) She wouldn't stay still while I tried to get a picture of her messy face and fingers, so this was the best I got
