One thing I wanted to be sure to do with Ann this year was go to an apple orchard/pumpkin patch. There are several in the surrounding area here, but I decided to go to Sekapp's Orchard, which happens to be the closest to us and the least expensive :) Ann really enjoyed getting to play around outside and pick out a pumpkin.
There was definitely a wide range of sizes of pumpkins!
It was a bright and sunny afternoon, but that didn't stop this little guy from smiling! (I love little baby smiles!! Melts my heart every time...)
Ann on some hay with a pumpkin scare crow. It was a little windy out, so even though it looks like Ann is channeling the early 90s and only has one side pony-tail, she really had two pig-tails in her hair.
Ann quite enjoyed these cut-outs
Another pretending to be an apple
Lots of pumpkins around on the ground and lots of sun shining in our eyes
Beautiful fall colors
There was a little hay-bale maze set up for younger kids to run around in. Ann had a great time. There was also a small corn maze too.
Lots of apple trees around. We didn't pick any apples from the trees (but we did buy a bag of apples from their store - yummy honey crisp apples I might add).
We went with my mom, so we had her take a picture of me with my two cuties and their pumpkins (any guesses as to whose pumpkin belongs to who?)
There was a big apple statue next to a wagon ride to take people off into the orchard to pick apples. I don't know why I didn't include the whole apple in the picture - it was probably because I took this picture right as we were leaving and I was holding a fussing Ian.
Walking back to the car. They had these wagons that people could use to pull their pumpkins/apples/etc. Ann hitched a ride.
